NEWPORT BEACH-BASED SYSTEMS PAVING NAMED TO INC. MAGAZINE’S “5,000 LIST”

Home Improvement Company Listed as One of the Fastest Growing Companies in the US

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – (October 1, 2007) – Systems Paving, Inc., the national industry leader in interlocking paving stones, was recently named to Inc. magazine’s first ever “Inc. 5,000” list.  The Newport Beach-based company was ranked as the 3,338th fastest growing private company in the United States for 2007. Inc. expanded their traditional “Inc. 500” to recognize companies, such as Systems Paving, that are making an impact within their industry.  

By being named to the list, Systems Paving is among the elite--a mere sliver of the seven million or so private companies in the U.S.  The “Inc. 5,000” was ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2003, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent. Revenue in 2003 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2006 must have been at least $2 million.
